This should be a recall! Rear hatch window just stopped working. Will not roll down. I can hear it click, but nothing happens.

Sequoia SR5 V8

  • Automatic transmission

The rear hatch window has not rolled down since 2005. It is now 2009. I used this window twice before it stopped working. I always forgot about it when at the Toyota dealership until today. I was quoted $100 just to check out the problem. I said "Forget It!" My extended warranty ended in July 2008 at 60,000 miles. I am now at 68,800 miles. This should be a lifetime warranty item. A rear hatch window cannot possibly be over-used like a driver's window. What the heck???

Sequoia SR5 4.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission

Rear window intermittently quit working over time. How could the motor wear out when it had only been used a few times a year over 4 years' time? Pretty shabby for such an expensive car!
