In the world of amazing technology where a clock will keep time to the millisecond on Mars, Toyota can't make a dash clock on my 2008 Solara convertible that can keep time here on Earth. Every time I check it, it's 10-20 minutes slow. A couple days later the time is incorrect again. I thought, at the time, Toyota was putting a lot of money into their "premiere" car, the Solara. The salesman told me three times that there is a Lexus engine in it but forgot to tell me they spent a dime on the clock to bring down the total cost. I did a lot of searches online and have found that my problem isn't isolated to me. The problem may seem minor but I paid a LOT of money for this car so I could avoid poor workmanship and making endless trips to the service department.
