I started hearing this chirping noise coming from the engine when I was outside the vehicle. I noticed that when I pushed in the clutch the noise would go away. I took it to the dealer and they want $1500 to replace the clutch release bearing.I know that involves removing the transmission but I thought that was alot of money. I am also very angry and disappointed in the quality of Toyota. I drive this truck very conservatively and do not carry heavy loads. I do not think the bearing should need replacing after 4 years. I did take it to a local repair shop that quoted me a repair price of $350. Quite a difference from the rip-off dealer.
