Tacoma 6-cyl

  • 14,323 miles
My problem deals with a 2007, Tacoma, X-cab, prerunner, V6, that's equipped with limited slip differential. The problem is that every time that I parked the vehicle and get back into it, start the vehicle, and releases the parking brakes'there's a grabbing feeling/noise in the rear end of the truck. The noise you can hear and feel it, as the vehicle moves out of the parking lot. However, the dealership's service department told me that this is a normal thing that all Toyota's that are equipped with limited slip differential do. In other words, they told me that this is normal and grabbing noise of this vehicle. It's hard for me to believe this; I feel there is a problem with this vehicle in the rear end. When I brought the vehicle in July 2007 (new), there was no grabbing noise/feeling. Why now, almost a year later. Can someone tell me is this normal of having a vehicle equipped with limited slip differential" the noise seems to be getting louder and I am worried that the vehicle goes out of warranty and then the dealership will tell me there's a problem with the rear end. Costing me dollars to repaired. Can someone help me with this issue" this problem has been going on now for least five months or more.
