The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated that the vehicle would begin to lose power while accelerating. The vehicle would not completely stall, but the engine would exhibit a severe loss of power. The contact also stated that the failure was intermittent, usually occurring when attempting to accelerate past other vehicles or accelerate up to highway speeds. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on several occasions, where they were unable to duplicate the failure. The failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 16,000.
