At about 500 miles I started to notice a ticking noise coming from the left (drivers) side of my engine. It sounds like a lifter tick or rocker arm. This engine having an overhead cam I don't think it would have lifters or rocker arms but that is the best way I can describe the sound. Soon after that it started making a sound on acceleration like an exhaust leak, ignition ping, piston rattle, or a baseball card clicking on the spokes of a bicycle. It is most noticeable during light acceleration just after the transmission shifts to the next gear. The noise is getting louder with time. I guess the problem will become evident in time. I just hope it is before the warranty runs out. I paid top dollar for this truck. I expect top quality. As of now I don't believe I'm getting it. Other that the engine noise I think the truck it fine.
