The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer for repairs after receiving notification of NHTSA campaign id number: 09V388000 (speed control: Accelerator pedal). The contact stated that the dealer refused to replace the floor mats under the recall and that the manufacturer stated there was nothing they could do to assist. The current mileage was 10,500. The contact had not experienced a failure. Updated 7/10/13 the cosnumer stated the florr mat would stick all the time. Also, the accelerator pedal would stick.
The contact has a 2010 Toyota Tacoma. The contact stated that while in four wheel drive the vehicle had a sudden acceleration. The contact was going 10 mph and stopping at a stop sign and the vehicle accelerated and shot through the enter section. This is the only time the failure happened.
