Purchased a Tacoma for reliability. Well maintained and low usage over the last 4 years. Blower went out, worked on high only. Dealership said due to age the resistor and wire harness failed. Cost over 500 dollars to repair. Asked to save and give me all replaced original parts. Gave me a resistor and a cut piece of a harness. Resistor shows a defect. Photo attached. Had to beg for the parts and only a partial harness was returned even though they promised they would give me all parts. What are they trying to cover up or did they splice the harness? This short cut is not an industry standard and should not warrant a 500 dollar repair.
