So I just bought this 2013 Toyota Tacoma on saturday may 25th 2013. the next morning the check engine and trac off light appeared on and by that point there was only 89 miles accumulated.(bought it with 67). So i brought it back to dealership and the check the codes and it was transmission and some fuel thingy. they cleared them and said it was probably a glitch in system. so i took the truck and seriously got 100 feet from the dealership and both the check engine light and the trac off light turned on again. i brought it immediatly brought it right back. they kept it over night and the next day i went in and they said they needed to change a solenoid. they pulled out the transmission and everything. now i am waiting for them to call me to see if i can come get it and its fixed. but honestly they shouldnt be changing parts out of it cuz its brand new. i feel like im getting screwed out of the brand new truck expierience(this is my first one). i asked if i could just have another one same year make model but they said they have to be given a minimum of 30 days to remedy the issue. i dont want a brand new car with recently changed parts. i want whats delivered from the manufacturer. please leave a reply on what to do. thanks.
