I have a 2014 Tacoma, now you would never suspect that a vehicle this new would be going through a liter of oil every 3500 km. When the issue first started it was a liter every 4000km. So of I go to the dealer and they tell me its within Toyota guide lines. I ask for a copy of these guide lines, but no one can supply them. They tell me not to worry I have lots of warranty left. You see they don't know I am a mechanic, so they go on with a load of crap which I very quickly shoot down. Now I have to go in every week or so and let them do an oil consumption thing!!
Pull out the dip stick and check it!! So I think the dealer is planning to put me off long enough for the warranty to run out and then tell me they can fix it for thousands of dollars!
Is there any one else out there having this problem?? I am pissed with Toyota for telling me lies!!
