TSB: Certain 2016 model year Tacoma vehicles are equipped with a compass in the rear view mirror. Use the following procedure to complete initial calibration of the compass during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS). There are two types of mirrors that are equipped with a compass (Type A and Type B). Determine which type the vehicle is equipped with and follow the calibration procedure for that mirror.
