: the contact stated the lap and shoulder belt in the left rear seat had tightened, and locked, causing welts across the passenger's stomach. No medical attention was sought. As the seatbelt would not release, the seatbelt was cut, to release the passenger. The service dealer offered to replace the seatbelt. The manufacturer was not alerted.
