Deteriorated parts of the brake backing plate jammed into brake caliper, caused overheating and warping of rotor, brake fluid boiled and blew out caliper. Had to pull half shaft, have new brake backing plate pressed on and replace caliper, and rotor. Other rear brake backing plate will be changed soon, due to similar corrosion. I live in Delaware, where some salt is sprayed on roads before storms. Dealers just shrug their shoulders when confronted about these corrosion problems.
