#25701-38060 emission valve set & clip failed. Vehicle started having hesitation (limp mode) issues....becoming not drivable. It cost our company time and money. It had to be repaired a second time the next year....June 29, 2010. Toyota is letting customers pick up the repair costs for their mis-design. Service depts., both at sioux city ia & Lincoln ne, stated this had been happening to other customers regarding this issue on the 2007 Tundra.

After the dealer completed the accelerator recall, my truck now has a slight stall when taking off and if there is any roughness in driving surface, the truck does this lurching/acceleration at each bump. It's almost like when they reprogrammed the accelerator, they made it too sensitive. I wasn't having a problem with the pedal prior to their "fix" but they forced me to have the "repair" done.

I had my truck in for service and they fix the gas pedal which has made it worse. The truck hesitates then lurches ahead. It happens all the time. Also the transmission is making a banging noise and doesn't shift right. It bangs on acceleration and deceleration have had it to the dealers shop and they acknowledge the problem but won't fix it.

The Toyota Tundra 2007-2010 carry a major saftey issues all over the net, under error code P2415 or P2440 or P2441 or P2442 series of errors, which prevent the truck from accelerating or stopping properly for that matter. I was towing when the check engine light came out while driving ( I mean driving) on the hwy, towing somewhat a heavy load & all of sudden while going uphill the engine just lost power instead of me going forward I got stuck, and if it was not for the other drivers being aware I would have been severly injured or killed along with my four kids, to make a miserable long story short, I find out this proplem is amajor issue and a defect in Toyota Tundra, and it cost consumer like me $3500 up to $5000 to fix it involve an air supply unit to the engine to shut down.......I need to get this issue to be looked at I have four kids were riding with me that day.... I cant believe the damage I avoided & the concept behind this stupid design.I urge you as an american to look into this issue I am providing you a link for that matter. And please let me know what action I can take against Toyota to fix this saftey issue. Intermittent fuel pump in 2007 Toyota Tundra 4.7L V8. Engine would stop running randomly, first at low speed and then eventually at highway speeds (75 mph). Very dangerous! fuel pump replaced after 30 days of stonewalling to include the 'fix' of keeping the gas tank at least 1/4 full. Never detected by the computer; no error codes ever displayed. Similar cases reported on the web with similar responses by Toyota reported. Why isn't this being reported in the media?

Referring to the January 21, 2010 Toyota recall of certain late model vehicles due to a accelerator pedal... I am the original owner of a 2007 Toyota Tundra with approximately 41K miles. I have experienced vehicle behavior consistent with that resulting from a stuck accelerator... both in forward and reverse... on at least three occasions. After reading of Toyota's recall, I contacted the phone number on Toyota's web site and their representative denied that there was a recall. Another Toyota representative was aware of the recall and provided the name of a local dealer... their service manager also denied that there was a recall even when I read the recall notice from the Toyota's web site! she even tried to convince me that I have a mechanical problem and would have to pay to have my vehicle fixed! this lack of internal communication is unacceptable!
