Was a great truck (Tundra) and now I am thinking of totaling it over rodent damage to my engine compartment. Chewed up a group of wires coming out of my firewall going throughout engine area. Truck will not start and the repair cost is 6,700.00, possibly more - this is unreal - Trucks are made to use in the woods for camping, fishing and hunting and a fricking squirrel totaled my Tundra. Bulls***.
I will not be looking at Toyotas anymore after I found out about them using some kind of wiring that is flavored to make rodents want to rip them up and eat them - what crap - and how much do Tundras cost??? Now they tell me the cab has to be pulled off the frame to run all new wire harnesses and that may not be the end, there could be more unforeseen damage due to the wiring shorting out while the squirrels were chewing it all up. I fish, I hunt, go camping, boating and never heard of this kind of crap and I am 64 years old. Worthless.
