The contact mentioned that the door needed to be unlocked manually from inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to Toyota of kingsport (2525 E stone dr, kingsport, tn 37660 423-246-6611), but the mechanic failed to provide diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the door actuator and master lock failed and needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
