Rodents getting into both engine compartment and the crewmax cab. Ate through the wiring that unlocks shifter, couldn't get out of Park w/o using manual override. Repair so far replaces that wire, but dealer said to expect more problems. Been baiting the rodents every night for past 10 days, both inside cab and in engine compartment. All bait blocks eaten every night, in cab and in engine compartment, so they just keep coming. Parked with 3 other (older) vehicles and have never had this problem with the other vehicles. Also, have lived here for 20 years; have never had this problem with any other vehicle. Have researched on line - lots of stories about how rodents are drawn to the soy-based material now being used for wire insulation and other. I can think of no other reason as to why my 2016 Tundra is literally getting devoured,
