I have never experienced an issue with the fuel gauge level with any other vehicle brand I've had before. This Tundra is my first new truck and this happened at 45,000 miles. Apparently it has a bad fuel sending unit. I think others people reported the same issue. Is this a reliable automobile brand?
In my opinion this truck is a piece of crap, low quality paint, high gasoline consumption, constantly steering vibration at high speed. The interior is very low quality; the upholstery is fading and the plastic door covers are also fading. My suggestion is try anything else. For me this is my first and last Toyota.
