We bought the Verso last year. Very nice features and all.
I couldn't believe that the first time in my 18 years of driving a Toyota (had 3), my latest broke down completely (14000km)! Never has any of my previous Toyotas let me down. And never did I have to replace any major parts.
So I got towed in and was told that this happened due to my clutch driving/driving habits. Previous car did the same route (with me driving) nothing happened to its clutch. But the new car, driving the same route the clutch burns out! Really!
There was also mud found somewhere in the engine? I don't do mud in my lady car with kids. My husbands 4x4 does mud!
Whats the use of buying a new car if you have to check the road conditions for mud, not riding the clutch at all and maybe it will last a year?
This will probably happen again and I will replace it with a pirate part just to prove a point. Toyota is very proud of their genuine Toyota parts and comes with a lovely price, but why pay that and get no value for money? I'm done with Toyota brands thank you very much!
