Sqeak Noise Inside Car
2005 Ford Escape
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2005 Escape has problems where the engine shuts down while driving. Ford finally issued a September 2014 recall. Time will tell if the recall fix really solves the problem.
However the 2005 Escape also has a defect where the PCM (Power Control Module) fries at around 100k miles. Ford extended the PCM warranty to 80,000 miles, but only after most owners were past the mileage limit. Now owners are on the hook for the average repair cost of over $2,000 (!!)

3mo after having this car-heard this noise-brought bk to dealer-supposedly they couldn't find anything
brought bk again and they said it was the seal on the door... well apparently the whole car must need a seal... the entire car needs an overhaul... the comment i got from dealer was they couldn't help if the seals keep breaking get that!!! the dealership needs to sent that guy and retrain him for customer service... as i thought and i have seen a commercial that ford customers should be happy with the product that they brought.. well i have owned alot of vehicles.. and this is the worse customer service i have received... i owe 4yrs more stinken years on this vehicle and i am not a happy camper.. i hear a constant squeaky noise .... and im not hearing things other people that have driven in my car hear the same thing. and noise is getting worse and worse... i will be bring car back to dealer and i will fill you in and see what the say this time
