When I went online this morning to research the cost of the repair, imagine my surprise to find that others had this exact situation happen to them. I thought it was an isolated incident! My car was just sitting there, parked, no previous damage. We are having record heat but nothing that should cause something like this to happen. The back window just exploded!!!! Luckily no one was in the car nor was anyone around it. Ford should most definitely be responsible for this.

On Saturday morning I woke up to leave the house, and noticed that the rear windshield has exploded. The temperature was in the upper 20's F. The car was park in the driveway overnight and turned off. I called the police thinking it was vandalism, but there was no evidence of that. There was a faint burnt smell in the back of the car. I could not complain to the dealer as it happen on the weekend. I wll have to wait till they are open.
