A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I recently bought my Escape on the 6th of this month. 5 days later, the 3rd time ever driving it from the shop, needing $200 for new control arms, as both sides done to stop and put gas in before I go back home and the car won’t start. It only had all the dashboard lights come on and then I could hear my fuel pump come on but that’s it. I am a widow and a mother of 9 kids - I bought it to be able to visit my son in prison and I just basically threw away over $2500. I don’t have to do that with.

I’m just now out of the $3600 and I still don’t have a car I still can’t visit my son... I will never ever go to Tim’s Auto sourcing in Tallmadge, Ohio. I’m also never getting a Ford again. I have to scrap my car I have only driven 3 times. I also lost all my money. Screw Ford.

Escape SLS

  • Automatic transmission

I feel that there should be a recall on this, I was told that this would cost over $500 to repair. I take good care of my Car get repair's done when it is time, keep the oil changed, rotate tires, get everything done when it is time and what the book calls for. there is a Lady at my Church that has had the same problem with her Ford Taursus, so it is not just happening with the Ford Escape's , I think this is a problem with Ford Products this should be looked into and maybe should be a Recall to help with your customer's that own these cars. I am a Senior on Social Security love my Ford Escape and for the most part it has been good to me, but this problem should seriously be considered for RECALL.
