Expedition Eddie Bauer V8

I believe my transmission is failing and it's apparent that this is common on ford/expeditions. Is their any recall on these? If not, it's seems worthly that ford should take some responsibility in correcting the problem. Obviously, this is not normal for a transmission to go out with such minimal miles. Any advise would be great.
