Stability control comes on intermittently for no apparent rhyme or reason. Every once in a while, when attempting to brake, the abs seems to engage and the vehicle seems to stop very poorly. Releasing the brakes and reapplying repeatedly seems to rectify the problem. Was sent to dealer a few years ago and was supposedly rectified by "resetting the rain sensor". The service manager was unable to explain this to me to my satisfaction and I gave up.
