CarComplaints.com Notes: For the third year in a row, the 3rd generation Focus is experiencing massive transmission problems.
Most notably owners keep complaining about how there's bad hesitation and jerking when starting from a stop. This isn't the result of an old, worn out part. In fact, the average mileage it's reported to us is just over 15k miles.

Dealership at Airport Ford Hamilton Canada is trying to make more profit and money off my issue with no support. The car is only at 136,000 km and covered by warranty and what they had offered is to trade it in with a new car and me having to carry over the loans of the new and old car and pay both. Rip off 101. This is absolutely ridiculous. Worst treatment ever received. Being a previous Ford employee myself, I will definitely never ever recommend anyone buying or dealing with Ford ever again.
Ford forced me to pick up the Focus 2014 at the dealership after a transmission breakdown last week with a near miss accident or else I would have to pay for the rental personally without fixing the issue leaving me on the road with a car that doesn't function with no further resolution. I called Ford Canada, they said they will not be able to do anything since my power train warranty is expired. So they have chosen to leave me without a car and in unsafe conditions rather than fix the problem.
