undercarriage clip broke off

Was coming back from shopping Sunday, when I noticed that there was something that looked funny under the car. At first I thought it was something like a branch, or rubber stuck under the car from a retread trailer tire, but as I approached the car and looked under there I noticed that it was attached to the under carriage of the car.

Others noticed it too and pointed it out to me, and as I was driving I could hear it slapping against the pavement. Took it to Auto Nation Nissan first thing Monday morning because I didn't feel like having to jack up the car just to inspect the damage just to determine that I didn't have the part to fix it.

The service manager told me that it was a one to two dollar plastic clip that popped off, and they fixed it at no cost to me, which was good that there was no significant damage and they didn't attempt to rip me off.

I marked this problem as annoying because it has been nothing but issue after issue with this car that is will be two years old come December. If the car was five years old I would not have even reported it.

Be forewarned that these Altimas are affordable/cheap for a reason and you get what you pay for.
