The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speeds and attempting to turn right or left, there was an abnormal noise at the front of the vehicle. The contact stated on one occasion while turning into the driveway of the residence, the control arm detached from the suspension. The contact stated that failure was due to corrosion of the sub frame. The vehicle was towed to mike erdman Nissan located at 4560 highway 520, cocoa fl 32926, (321)453-2050, to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the front and rear sub frame and control arms needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure, case number: 38348110. The failure mileage was 64,387.
