I was on my way to Atlanta from the Chicago area when, about halfway into my trip, my car started losing power. Luckily, I was able to pull over without incident. Once I pulled to the side of the road, I noticed the car was running very badly, then it stalled. After it stalled, I tried many times to start the engine, but was unable to get it running. Well, after sitting on side of the road for about 30 minutes, I tried to start the car again and it started...but with a rough idle. Fortunately, I was able to drive the car home because no lights came on and it still ran ok at 80 mph.

At 80mph, I noticed that the car still did not have the power it usually has. Well, once I barely arrived home, the car died and did not start again so I had it towed to the Audi Marietta GA dealership. After having it for a few days, I was informed by the dealership that one of my turbos had failed and the cost was $8,000. Immediately, I contacted Audi USA and explained my disdain with the turbos failing at approximately 70k miles. Well, after days of joisting, Audi USA agreed to pay half.

Now, this is where the plot thickens. So, Audi Marietta replaced the turbo and was test driving the car to make sure everything was ok. But, while the mechanic was test driving the car he noticed that the car still had a problem. Ironically, during his test drive, the 2nd turbo failed... This was reported to me and now I was on the hook for the full price of the 2nd turbo. Again, I complained to the manager at the dealership and Audi USA about the tech's inability to diagnose the full problem and the convenience of the 2nd turbo failing during the "test drive". Fortunately, Audi USA and the dealership agreed to eat the cost of the 2nd turbo and I would only have to still pay $4000.00 instead of the suggested $16,000.00(8k per turbo).
