The contact owns a 2015 BMW 528I. While driving approximately 70 mph, the contact heard a loud noise that sounded like an explosion inside the vehicle. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and noticed that the sun roof had shattered without impact. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (BMW of gwinnett place, 3264 commerce ave nw, duluth, ga 30096, (770) 476-8800), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified and informed the contact to call his insurance company. No further assistance was offered. The approximate failure mileage was 19,000.
