The contact owns a 2010 BMW 750I. The vehicle was parked in the residence garage when the contact smelled a strong fuel odor outside of the vehicle. There was an excessive amount of fuel leakage on the ground coming from the fuel tank. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on two separate occasions for the identical failure. The technician stated that the failure was contributed to leakage from the fuel line. The charcoal canister and pump were replaced for the malfunction under the service warranty.
