Summary

Automatic Trunk Lid Does Not Close Properly. Intermittently, the automatic trunk lid (HKL) will not close properly. When the automatic close button on the trunk lid is pressed, the trunk lid will begin closing and then reopen, just before it reaches the end of travel. Closing the trunk manually will allow it to properly latch closed. No relevant fault codes are stored. CAUSE Software error in the HKL control unit
