This is my second BMW and will be my last. First one was a 2008 528, the transmission went bad at 40,000.miles. The next one is the X5 which I currently own. Both vehicles hesitate when you first start to accelerate. When we took it to the shop they said that is just the way they are, but he did tell us that there was new software that could help the problem, but not completely stop the hesitation. This could be a potentially dangerous situation. I thought with the 528 I just got a lemon, but now I am being told it is a common problem with the BMW's. Unacceptable!!
