- Summary
- "Various Electrical Complaints Associated with BDC. One or more of the following situations may occur: * The customer operates the windshield wiper washer system, which activates the headlight washers automatically. The windshield wipers operate two times and then stop after the headlight washers activate. The windshield wipers then have to be turned on again manually. * After the customer stops the wipers by pressing the button on the wiper control lever, the wipers remain approximately 15 cm above the lowest position and do not go into the normal park position. * The customer states that the control LEDs for rear seat heating (option code 496, rear seat heating) do not light up after switching on the rear heated seats, using the button. * When the key remote is placed in front of the instrument cluster and the brake pedal is applied to start the vehicle, a Check Control Message, ""No remote control/engine cannot be started,"" is displayed. The engine starts once the key is moved to another location. CAUSE Software error in the BDC (Body Domain Controller)"
