Whenever driving or waiting at a stop light vehicle would stall causing a safety hazard in middle of traffic. Have taken to dealership. Vehicle was test driven, but mechanic could not indicate exact cause of problem.
While driving on highway all of sudden vehicle died. Went to park, then it restarted. Contacted dealer. They had it for two weeks and couldn't duplicate the problem.
While driving at 65mph vehicle totally shutdown. There were no warning lights on the dash. Consumer waited for a few minutes, and vehile started again, 3 hours later it occured again.
While driving at 65 mph with or without the cruise control activated the engine will completely shut off, cause unknown. Dealer replaced the fuel filter and spark plugs which did not remedy the problem.

While driving along at any speed the engine goes dead. When starting vehicle after stopping, in the parking gear, the vehicle starts up again immediately. The alternator was replaced on 9/9/ 97, and the battery a few days after that by dealership. Consumer is still experiencing a problem with vehicle cutting off.
While driving the vehicle it just shuts off without warning, and after (1) minute the vehicle starts up again. This happens at any time and any speed. Dealer cannot find a problem with vehicle.
