One day I noticed that my braking power was reduce very significantly. After taking it to a mechanic I was informed that the front two brake calipers had seized up and are no longer working. In this case rust was the culprit (10 yrs of Michigan winters probably contributed a lot). Total price to repair was about $432 including two new brake pads as well as the calipers.
