The car has a piston knock when it is cold, when it gets warm, it tends to go away, but you can still faintly hear it. I have driven the car with this problem for a few years, and nothing has ever come from it.
I believe this is because GM cheaped out it's engine manufacturing by no longer matching pistons to cylinder bores. Now this car sounds like a freight train!
