The contact owns a 2003 Buick Century. While driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle failed to stop when the brake pedal was engaged. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that the front passenger side brake line rotted and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred on all four brake lines. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000.
