I'd like to add to the earlier comment on the quality of the paint and the metal as well. Did they use aluminum foil and model car paint on these vehicles, it is rare to find one that dosen't have severe rust on the rocker panels and wheel wells, I'm assuming that the ones that don't exhibit rusting have been repaired. My daughter recently tried to jack the car up to remove a wheel and have her brakes checked. After installing the jack in the appropriate spot, she and a friend of hers started to raise the car, only to have the rocker panel crumble and flake apart. Very disappointed with the overall quality of the vehicle. I seriously doubt if I will ever purchase another GM product.

What did they paint these cars with, Crayola Crayons? I have YET to see a Century that has not been repainted with rocker panels or rear fenders with no major rust. I have repaired mine once already just to have it rust through in other places. At this point I am just going to bondo it and coat it with bed liner or rock guard.
