Had owned the car for less than 1 day, Driving home from dealership and were 86 miles out headed for Prineville Oregon and got a code and went into limp mode, Told not to drive and have serviced IMMEADIATELY per ON Star. Had it towed to dealership. A 5 hour ordeal and they damaged a rim to boot and were going to leave the windows down for the 90 mile drive. Dealership needed it for a few days and we needed to go home. We were told air and hotel and Reunite would be covered as well as a rental car. Dealer couldn't get problem to repeat so no fix no reimbursement. What a pile of crap I am out $$$. Good thing I didn't rent a car or it would be significantly more,
We were 400 miles from home and the only thing that would have been worse is if it had failed in the middle of the high desert at night
Working with Buick Customer service has been worth less Took two weeks to get them to call back after calling them every couple of days for an update and being told our case manager will call us back. If this is how they handle customer service I think I will steer away from GM products.
I actually understand sometimes stuff happens and you need to take care of the customer 2 weeks and still no car and most of that was waiting on a decision from GM. Right now my choice is to fly down and drive it back on my dime or have it shipped on my dime wait for the dealership to ship it which will probably cost me so all told I would be out about $3K and still don't know if the car will do it again when I am in the middle of no where. IF I could undo this deal I would.
