My 95 Buick LeSabre intermitantly will put the security light on when you try to start it. Then you must wait for the 10 minutes for the security switch to reset, then try to start it again sometimes it will start and there have been times when I have been there more than an hour trying to get it to start. Then it will go for months and not do it, then it will suddenly start doing this again. In an emergency it is a real pain never knowing if it is going to start.

I went to Buick and they have no clue what the problem is for 200 dollars they were willing to check to tell me what the problem is and then I could pay them more to fix it! My mechanic says he can install a start button to bypass the key, sounds like a last resort. I would like to get it fixed correctly as this car is not dependable as it is. I have not seen anyone with this problem so far.
