My airbag deployed unexpectedly as I was driving for no apparent reason. I was about 1 1/2 blocks from my home on a quiet residential street with no traffic. I was going 15-20 mph. The was nothing in the road, weather fine. My hands were bruised from the impact. My right jaw and ear are sore, ringing and muffled ear sounds. No one can explain why this occurred. I went to the emergency room for a quick check. My insurance is questioning who is responsible and ought to pay. My car has been maintained by the same garage since I bought it, for the most part, and was recently serviced. I have never had any other trouble with it, and in general like the car very much. But this incident really scared me.
