Contact stated from a dead stop and turning left the vehicle did not get enough fuel to make a hard left turn. It just barely moved along, could not get it to accelerate. This happened intermittently close to a year. The dealer stated there were no recalls. The dealer told contact if it happened again to bring vehicle in, and they might be able to duplicate the problem.
After vehicle had been sitting for approximately 6 hours, consumer was awakened by the fire department at approximately 2am, to find out that vehicle the was on fire. Fire inspection thought that it may have been a problem with fuel injection system. No injuries were sustained. The estimated property damage was $15000.
After coming to a complete stop in rainy conditions, vehicle lunged forward, causing an accident. Vehicle then vibrated and lunged forward again. Took to dealer. Cause unknown. Dealer found fuel pressure regulator to be faulty.
