The vehicle was taken to a dealer who diagnosed that both front wheel bearings failed due to corrosion, as a result both wheel hub bearings needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was not included in any recalls. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 60,000.
My 2004 Buick Lesabre has had front vibration since it was new. Tires have been replace twice, two wheels have been replaced due to slight imperfections, wheels have been balance numerous time. The dealer did some extensive testing and eventually the vibration was within manufacturer's tolerance. They refused to take further action. The front end continues to vibrate and the car now has 33,000 miles.
