I backed out of my driveway and proceeded down the highway and the passenger side airbag exploded on my wife's arm. I am afraid that it will happen on the drivers side while driving. What should I do for safety sake?
I own a 1997 Cadillac Deville. My air bag sensor has been coming on and going off on my instrument panel for the last few months. I have had the car checked several times and I was told the sensor was defective. This is for the air bag on the driver's side door. Today 2/24/12 the air bag deployed as I was about to back out of my drive way. My current mileage is 94,000 miles. I am also having troubles with having to press my brakes almost to the floor for the car to stop.
Consumer states that while driving at 72 mph in light rain the vehicle started to spin and run off the road and ran into a tree and none of the side air bags did not deploy at all. Contacted dealer and the dealer stated that the vehicle act correctly. Nlm
