I was driving at approximately 45 mph on M-119 in petoskey Michigan. I heard a loud, sharp bang, similar to hearing a rifle being fired without ear defenders. Immediately, I pulled to the shoulder to inspect the vehicle and assess damage. The panoramic roof had shattered. There was no sign of impact from external sources. The interior shade was closed.
