Cadillac cue system started with spider veins on screen then stopped working at same time light gate goes up and down on its own when driving very dangerous, sometimes when parked it will go up part way down up again and then close someone walks by might hurt them shame Cadillac will not admit to this mistake on a 50000 car
Delaminating/Unworking Touch Screen - KNOWN Cadillac issue 1) Back up camera is no longer visible when parking my car. 2) GPS is no longer available due to the spider lines, I have to use my phone for GPS on the highway making it unsafe due to the super small screen instead of the large CUE screen in the Cadillac SRX I purchased. 3) You can no longer pair your cell phone with the Bluetooth in the Cadillac, because of the spider lines on the screen causing the screen to stop working completely. This makes my vehicle no longer handsfree. 4) I can no longer control the heating and cooling system with the touchscreen not working,
Rear trunk/hatch lid: I had pressed the switch on the hatch lid to cause closing. At this point my wife walked too close to the closing hatch and it hit her, and continued to close, causing a gash on her forehead. I am of the belief that any contact made by the hatch and a foreign object will cause the hatch to reverse its closing action.

GM Corp/Cadillac issued a recall to the vehicles info center CUE screens. They were deteriorating and potential provide false information on the cars message center. Cadillac replaced t he CUE screen on the 2014 SRX. The same screen that was replaced is now deteriorated to the point, that after 30 minutes of driving, the screen has become inoperative to the touch and not able to display and current information about the cars condition. This inoperative screen and lack of information creates a distraction and concern about the cars condition. Recall / Repair was done under invoice #218494 from AutoNation Cadillac of West Palm Bch, Fla
The cue screen is not functioning. The screen has spider-looking cracks, I can not sync my phone or anything else. I was told by Cadillac that replacing it would cost 1600.00.
The Cadillac que (radio screen) has cracked in upper right corner & expanding down the screen & toward left side of screen causing distortion to what is displayed. My car is garage kept and not even used as a daily vehicle. I am very frustrated & disappointed in this flaw & would appreciate a recall to have screen replaced at no charge.
I purchased a 2014 Cadillac Srx and began having problems with the transmission 7 months later. I was experiencing hard shift changes constantly while driving, to the point where I almost caused an accident. I took the car to the dealer 5 times for a diagnostic review. Occording to them they did not find anything wrong with the car until I drove it there and physically requested a manager to come out and drive the vehicle with me. Then and only then they admitted something was wrong with the car, they kept it for 2 weeks and claimed they performed a complete transmission overhaul. I took the car home and 5 weeks later I was back at the dealership with the same problem, this time worst than the 1st time. By then my warranty had expired, they did not want to guarantee their repair and they wanted me to pay almost 3,000 dollars for transmission repair they claimed to have done. My other issue is with the cue, it cracked while the car was at the dealership and was told I needed to pay 1,500 dollars to fix. Second time I had an issue with it. This model has so many issues it definitely should be recalled before someone dies on the road from a faulty transmission and cues that can be dangerous because you haver to use your cell phone for navigation.
My headlights do not provide enough light to be safe. I cannot see when they are on the low beam, and others flash their lights at me as if to say they can't see me either. I can see well when the high beams are on, then oncoming traffic flashes they are too bright and blinding them. I have seen numerous reports of this issue for this vehicle on the internet. I reported it to the Cadillac dealer, and they didn't even return my call as they said they would. Don't ignore the problem. Someone could get killed. This is not an isolated incident. I cannot provide any date because it is always like this. I live in a rural area, and need good headlights.
Dim to barely no low beam lights. Took vehicle to dealership and found out the entire headlamp assemblies need to be replaced due to a faulty seal that has allowed moisture to corrode the reflectors. I am really surprised the vehicle passed inspection with little to no low beam lights which could have caused night blindness causing severe accident.
My radio is going batting again. It plays but the screen will not work 1/2 the time - I have no control on where to go. When I try to recieve a call from the car it will pick up and disconnect 2 seconds into the call. It will not let me use a aux cord to play music. I have replaced the display on 9/13/16 and I replaced the radio on 4/26/17. This is not acceptable. I had to wait in April for over a month or two B/C this particular radio was on back order due to issues.
Cadillac cue touch screen doesn't work properly - frozen - won't respond to touch. Radio randomly starts blasting startling driver. Driver unable to adjust heat/cooling so must lean over and put hands on vents to see where (if) heat is being directed, causing driver to swerve into oncoming traffic or off road. Unable to use navigation system so driver is unable to Focus on the road and must look at cell phone. Phone is unable to pair bluetooth phone with system B/C it needs touch screen, so phone must be held in hand or placed between seat belt near driver's ear causing driver distraction/inattention. Screen flickers randomly drawing drivers eyes off the road possibly causing an accident. Unable to set/reset safety features, warning bells, lockout protections etc. Driver has tried to ignore these issues, however, the longer the system is down/malfunctioning, the higher the risk is becoming due to driver distraction.
Dash screen sometimes does not work if freezes up and is not useable. I had this replaced two years ago at about 60,000 miles and now it is happening again at 90,000 miles. When this happens the vehicle is in motion on a city street and a highway
Headlights on low beam are unsafe and vehicle can not safely be driven at night. We returned to dealers who replaced bulb after one blew out but new bulb did not help. After researching on internet we have learned this is a common problem with this year make and model and has been reported by many consumers although there has been no effort by manufacturer to correct. Very unsafe.
The problem started a year ago with the lights becoming severely dim and unsafe at night. In the past two months the veu system has taken a mind of its own and usually does not work from the center console. Now the car does not work at all. It's like it's shorted out the whole electrical system. Worst car ever!!! I will never buy a Cadillac ever again.
