A couple years ago, 2 cracks magically appeared on my dashboard and it makes an annoying sound when driving the vehicle down the road. The dashboard vibrates up and down and the cracks seem to keep expanding. Is dangerous condition if I were to be involved in accident. Dashboard seems to be not secured correctly anymore. It could project in pieces in my body if it were to be involved in accident...

We bought the car used. The dash was slightly cracked. It continued to crack and vibrate making it worse. We applied duct tape to cover the cracks and then installed a dash mat matching the interior for around $150.00. We previously owned a 2010 Avalanche and it also had a cracked dashboard. This is total bullshit, there should have been a recall from GM. Our friends have a 2013 Black Diamond model with cracks. My niece has a 2011 Avalanche and has cracks too!!

Crack near passenger air bag and one near instrument panel, also runs rough.

Vehicle has been kept in heated and air conditioned garage since brand new, has 20000 miles on it. Has never been dirty, never sits outside looks brand new. Dash is cracked from windshield almost to nav system.
