My electrical panel was defective, sent in 4 times and they claimed to replace the electrical panel. It was rigged by crossing wires and lights in dash dont work and radio tapped into wipers. Then calipers, sway arms, shocks, catalytic converter was defective and also never replaced right. Paid someone to put emissions sticker to pass.
The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo. While attempting to park the vehicle, it failed to stop when applying the brakes. Instead, the tires spun in place and the vehicle took off and eventually crashed into a light post. The air bags failed to deploy. The vehicle was towed and a police report was filed. There were no injuries. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000.
The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo. While driving 10 mph, the vehicle involuntary accelerated and the braking ability seized. The vehicle crashed into a utility pole. The air bags did not deploy. There were no injuries and a police report was filed. The vehicle was towed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000.
Backing up from a parked postion applied the brakes and they did not respond. A vacuum leak from a cracked/broken rubber elbow caused the brakes to fail. Over the past 2-1/2 years the elbow has been replaced 5 times the the same thing.
Brake line rupture and resulting brake failure caused minor rear end collision with vehicle in front. Air bag activated but structural damage minor until the fire. Fire originated in front left (impacted) corner and consumed entire engine compartment to the fire wall. Weather perfect, dry roads, no obvious cause of fire. Except for brakes vehicle was drivable until fire.
