my aveo has been in the shop many different times for the airbag warning light.. they told me that it is just the connector that is bad and they have replaced it 3 times...but the light keeps coming on...which means that my airbags could deploy at any minute or not deploy if i were to get into an accident...my older sister has an aveo and her's is having the same problem as mine. it is to the point where they are charging me for the parts when it should be covered under warrenty...
the passenger airbag sensor tells me it is off when i have a fairly significant sized adult in the seat. dealership replaced twice. claim sensor is operating normally, that the passengers aren't sitting in the seat correctly.
what a bunch of bull. they even went so far as to pull out my manual and circle that part of the instructions.
really????????
and i've about had it with the little things that keep coming up with this car....just had to replace the shifter because of a known TSB issue
well since I purchased this car the only thing I been using it is to drive it to service. that's why it has low mileage. first it was the engine light then the air bag light. its been to service twice for the air bag light because they don't know what's wrong with it. they tell me that as long as they fix it, they cant do nothing about it, but my warranty is almost over, in 2 more months then what are they going tell me?
