2nd time in 4 months my bolt has had a propulsion power reduced error message and a U3626 OBD code.
Both times happened after the car sat for a few hours under 35% battery. once at 15% once at ~35%.
Dealer needs to flash the hybrid power control module 2. This is the 2nd time they have had to flash the module. Once in May 14th 2026 and now August 20th 2026. Second dealer noted a new recall campaign but from what he showed me the campaign was released January so not sure why they didn't just flash the newest programming the first time. If you have these issues expect to take your car in at least 2 times.
Woke up one morning after leaving my bolt EV at around 15% overnight at home. Previously that evening had used a Tesla DC fast charger. There seems to be a bulletin/recall going around about a false DTC being set on these cars and the Hybrid Power Control Module/HPCM needs to be reprogrammed. I will update with the fix from the dealer as my car had the affected codes U3626 but also P3013 and P1E00 hybrid power control module 2 requested malfunction indicator light.
